Description
Enoch Pratt said this when he endowed the Pratt Library in 1882: “My library shall be for all, rich and poor without distinction of race or color, who, when properly accredited, can take out the books if they will handle them carefully and return them.” Join Dr. Kate Drabinski for a digital tour of the Pratt to learn about Baltimore's great public library, and how it has lived up to and extended beyond Mr. Pratt's initial hope. Why do public libraries matter, why are they under attack, and how do we support them? And what can they do better?
