For most of us, once we toss our trash in a bin we forget all about it. But where does it go, and where does it stay? Join Dr. Kate Drabinski to learn what happens to Baltimore's trash, and what we can do to lighten the load our trash takes on our health and environment.
Bio:
Kate Drabinski is Principal Lecturer in Gender, Women's, and Sexuality Studies at UMBC where she also directs the WILL+ program, a feminist leadership living learning community. She helps lead LGBTQ+ and Civil Rights history tours in Baltimore City with Baltimore Heritage, and she loves learning about the city she has called home for over a decade.
