Description
UMBC Observatory Outreach Team Coordinator Jade Dorsainvil will be presenting on stellar life cycles. Jade will cover:
- Definition of a star
- Life cycle (Hertzsprung-Russell Diagram)
- Origin of the Northern Lights
- Solar Phenomena (Cycle, Spots, Loops, CMEs)
As with all FOTO presentations, the talk will run 30-40 minutes with 10-20 minutes each for questions and feedback.
